In the western world, USA, Canada and others, we have been raised from childhood with a different thinking than those in the east. And especially different than those in the east 3 thousand years ago. When understanding scripture, and I do mean scripture, not the translated Bible we commonly read from, we have to understand it with the mindset of those in Israel from way back. We dig into that, the sod (phonetic Hebrew pronounced “sewed”) of the word so that we can gain a Hebraic Mindset. Understanding scripture and history through a Hebrew understanding gives us far greater insight than it does trying to understand it through a western lens.
